Since I have been working with found metal, this creature's body and legs were made with an older type of “chair” used in road construction. A chair is used to lift steel rebar a few inches off the ground. This allows the poured concrete to encapsulate this reinforcement rod. Today, molded plastic “chairs” are the norm
